On October 12th, Daisch, a high precision inertial positioning solution provider, announced the completion of a Pre-A round of financing, led by Shanghai Aosheng Management Consulting Co., Ltd. Daisch didn’t disclose the financing amount. The investment is for developing new products and processes and to improve delivery capacity.
Founded in January 2015, Daisch specializes in motion and position fusion sensors, altitude and motion control systems. The company also provides smart machinery in a wide range of fields such as industrial unmanned aerial vehicles to automated driving. Validating advanced driver assistance systems or assisting in the development of automated driving fleets is also in the company’s business scope.
In 2018, Daisch launched a China-made alternative to the integrated inertial navigation for L4 automated driving, covering RoboTaxi, RoboBus and other smart devices. In 2020, it implemented an intelligent manufacturing factory, and in 2021, it upgraded the manufacturing process of the new generation inertial measurement unit (IMU) and the localization of key processes.
Bian Jiang, general manager of Daisch, said that by Q2 of 2022, the factory will achieve an annual production capacity of 500,000 units. At present, Daisch has 9 published patent applications in 126 countries or regions around the world, including 5 invention patents.
