Honor 80 Series Tentatively Scheduled for Release in November
On May 30, Honor officially released its Honor 70 Series. Not long ago, domestic digital blogger named “@Changzhang Shi Guantongxue” said on August 9 that the Honor 80 Series will be released in November, which was earlier than last year’s release of the Honor 60 series in December.
The blogger went on to state that the release time of Honor’s X40 will be adjusted to September, and the company’s laptop, the MagicBook V14, will also be released. Whether the company would release the next iteration in the Honor Band 7, the blogger did not know. Most Honor products have been released in a timely manner since September, and the company will hold more launch events in September, October, November and December.
As for the specific configuration of the Honor 80 Series, the blogger said that its processor should be top notch and that the company will have some new things to reveal this time.
However, some netizens commented that Honor’s smartphone prices have become too expensive in recent years and have made some decide not to buy. In response, the blogger said that Honor is adjusting the models in various price segments, and then fixing them, so that there be a new cost-effective series in the future.
The previously released Honor 70 series products include the 70, 70 Pro and 70 Pro+, which are equipped with Dimensity 9000, Dimensity 8000, Snapdragon 778G+ processors respectively, with prices ranging from 2699 yuan ($399.69) to 4599 yuan ($681.06).
