Honor Play 8A Launched with “Pearl” Bezel-less Display
On January 8, Honor launched their new budget phone Honor Play 8A, with a 6.09 inch “pearl” bezel-less screen. The phone comes in four dashing colors, fiery red, dreamy night black, aurora blue and platinum gold.

In terms of industrial design, the Honor Play 8A adopts a three-side thin bezel design, with a 3.2mm top bezel. It is equipped with a Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 chipset, with RAM of 3GB and two storage options of 32GB and 64GB. Its battery capacity is 3020 mAh.

Its has a single 13 MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8, with a 8MP selfie camera that supports beautifying effects including face slimming and eye enlarging.

In terms of system, the phone runs on an EMUI 9.0 system, which is an optimized version of Android 9, supporting the AI-backed backstage management system.

As for pricing, the 3GB+32GB version is priced at 799 yuan ($116) while the 3GB+64GB is priced at 999 yuan ($146). The phone will be officially up for sale from January 9.
