Honor’s X series smartphones have been popular for its budget friendly prices and chic designs. Last September Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, released Honor 8X and 8X Max priced all below $300. Then in July, it launched the latest Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro, which are the newest budget camera phones of Honor’s X series, to target the mid-range phone market.
Huawei Honor 9X Pro vs Honor 8X
Compared to the Honor 8X, 9X Pro has quite a few fascinating new features. Honor 9X Pro sports an octa-core Kirin 810 chipset and supports up to 8G of RAM, which makes it much faster more powerful than Honor 8X, which is powered by Kirin 710 and 4G of RAM. Honor 9X Pro has a pop-up selfie camera, and a triple camera setup on the back featuring a 48MP main sensor, a 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The 9X Pro has a large 4,000mAh battery to support up to 10 hours of online video playback or 10 hours of gaming. However, it doesn’t support fast charge which is slightly unfortunate.
Huawei Honor 9X Pro is priced at $320 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and $349 for 8GB RAM and double the storage.
