On Feb. 18, huanqiu.com and the Global Public Opinion Survey Center launched an online survey on domestic brand preferences to understand the Chinese consumer’s perception of domestic brands.
The survey was conducted online through huanqiu.com, Toutiao, UC, Baidu News and Phoenix Net from Feb. 9 to Feb. 27.
The published survey results show that Huawei was the most favored domestic digital electronic products brand. Huawei was favored by 87 percent of survey netizens. Xiaomi came in second with a 46.7 percent approval rate, and Lenovo came in third with 38.1 percent approval rate. Haier (37.3 percent), and DJI (22.8 percent) ranked the fourth and fifth place, respectively.
OPPO and vivo were two least-favored domestic electronic products brands. 18 percent and 16.2 percent of netizens said that they disliked OPPO and vivo, respectively. 15.4 percent of netizens responded that they dislike Lenovo and Xiaomi, making both brands the third-least favorite domestic electronic products brands.
It is important to note that this survey was conducted online without offline channels.
