Huawei Launches Whole-Home Smart Living Packages, Starting at $1,421

December 22 — At its latest product launch event, Huawei introduced a new lineup of HarmonyOS Smart Home whole-home intelligent living packages, covering both pre-installation (new homes) and retrofit (existing homes) scenarios. The solutions are tailored to meet the needs of new home construction and old home upgrades, with prices starting at $1,421.

Pre-installation packages for new homes

Huawei offers three tiers designed for newly built or renovated homes:

• Standard Package — $4,263 Built on PLC connectivity and whole-home Wi-Fi 7, the package supports remote control of lighting, curtains, and air conditioning. It includes a Smart Door Lock 2 and a kitchen smoke sensor, with seamless multi-device control across phones, tablets, and other terminals.

• Professional Package — $8,526 Expanding on the standard version, this package adds dynamic lighting for dining areas and children’s rooms, along with air sensors for formaldehyde removal, constant temperature, and humidity control. It also upgrades to triple-layer security and introduces more natural, sensor-driven interactions.

• Premium Package — $14,210 The top-tier option features a Smart Door Lock Pro, 2K AI tracking cameras, colorful ambient light strips, and ceiling speakers. When paired with Huawei Mate TV, it delivers an immersive surround-sound entertainment experience.

Retrofit packages for existing homes

Designed for fast and flexible upgrades, the retrofit solutions can be deployed in as little as 24 hours and also come in three tiers:

• Starter Package — $1,421 Includes a smart control hub and covers essential smart home functions.

• Standard Package — $3,680 Adds night-time motion sensing and AI sensors for children’s rooms to enhance safety and comfort.

• Professional Package — $7,070 Features a no-main-light lighting design, fall detection alerts for seniors and children, and triple-layer security, creating a comprehensive, all-age home protection system.
