Huawei M9 EV Officially Launched

Today, Huawei unveiled the highly anticipated M9 electric vehicle (EV) at a launch event held in Shenzhen. 

At the core of the M9 is its fourth-generation range extender platform, boasting an impressive thermal efficiency of 41% and a fuel-to-electricity conversion rate of 3.44 kWh/L. These cutting-edge features not only optimize performance but also enhance energy utilization, setting new benchmarks for efficiency in the EV market.

The M9’s 52-degree battery version offers a combined range of 1402km, making it an ideal choice for long-distance journeys. For eco-conscious drivers, the pure electric range of 275km under CLTC conditions is another option.

Huawei’s “Whale” 800V high-voltage battery platform takes the M9’s performance to the next level. With this advanced technology, the M9 can achieve an 150km of range with a 5-minute charge.

Huawei’s Executive Director and CEO of Terminal BG and Intelligent Automotive Solutions, Yu Chengdong hailed the M9 as the “best SUV within ten million yuan and the most powerful SUV on the road,” emphasizing Huawei’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technological innovation in the automotive industry.
