Huawei Opens up Its Largest Flagship Store in Shanghai

Huawei Technologies has opened up its largest global flagship store in Shanghai’s main shopping street Nanjing East Road on Wednesday.

The store covers a floor area of more than 5,000 square meters in a stylish art deco building in Shanghai. The first floor showcases Huawei’s latest products including smartphones, tablet computers and wearable devices in 12 cabinets which display products in different living scenes. The third floor is a full-scenario smart living area where customers can enjoy an outstanding view of the city and the centuries-old Nanjing East Road.

The store will organize community events in the “HUAWEI Community”, providing more than 60 free lectures to community members in eight different subject areas ranging from video production to fitness. Local artists and international technical developers will be invited to the store each month for workshop sessions. There are also more than 200 sales consultants in the store, providing translation services in around 10 languages including Shanghainese, or Shanghai dialect.

The world’s second-largest smartphone maker opened its first global flagship store in its headquarter city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province last September.
