Huawei P20 Porsche Design featuring Leica tri-lens

In two days, Apple, Huawei and Xiaomi will all hold product release conferences in “a triple mobile phone fest”. As seen in its Twitter announcement, Huawei will release the P20 and the P20 Pro which will come in a Porsche Design version. Prior to that, only the Mate series smartphones carried the Porsche Design.

The P series and the Mate series are Huawei’s two high-end smartphone series. These two series have gained foothold in the high-end market and have become internationally recognized products.

Unlike the Mate series, the P series is more stylish and appeals to youths. The P20 Pro will be the first to use Leica’s tri-lens design. The three cameras are 40 megapixel, 8 megapixel, and 20 megapixel, with f/1.6 apertures. The P20 is equipped with the latest Kirin 970 AI chip.

According to previous sales figures, the Huawei Mate Porsche Design was highly popular in the market. The success of several previous products may have swayed Huawei to launch the P20 Porsche Design. The technical specifications of the P20 Porsche Design smartphone should be similar to the P20 Pro, with Leica tri-lens, built-in 6GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

With the Porsche Design tag and Leica tri-lens, the Huawei P20 Porsche Design version won’t be priced low. The P20 Porsche Design version will be a limited sale and it may be difficult to purchase one.
