Huawei Ranks Second in the Chinese Smartphone Market with A 17% Sales Share

Huawei recently released the Mate 60/Pro/Pro+ series and the Mate X5 foldable screen smartphone, which has caused a buying frenzy in China. At one point, they were even being sold at a premium price.

According to authoritative market research data obtained from the supply chain, Huawei captured the second position in the Chinese smartphone market with a sales market share of 17% during W36 (September 4th to September 10th), trailing only behind Honor (17.2%) by a mere 0.2%.

Supply chain professionals expect that Huawei is expected to achieve the highest market share in sales by W37 (September 11th to September 17th).

The demand for Huawei Mate 60 Pro model is higher than expected, with the shipment volume for the second half of this year being increased to 6 million units, a 20% increase. According to the supply chain, Mate 60 Pro has been ordered for a total of 15-17 million units.
