Huawei Releases First Virtual Digital Person “Yunsheng”
Huawei held its Connect Conference on Thursday, where Zhang Pingan, Senior Vice President of Huawei, CEO of Huawei Cloud and President of Consumer Cloud Services, delivered a keynote speech.
Zhang discussed the firm’s first virtual digital person, named “Yunsheng,” that Huawei has created based on the digital content production line through AI-powered automatic modeling, AI voice drive, and AI rendering acceleration. She has just joined Huawei as a new employee, the firm says.
At the scene, Zhang also interacted with Yunsheng.
Huawei then opened a Weibo account for the virtual digital person. She wrote, “Hi everyone, I am Yunsheng. I have just joined Huawei. I am very honored to be on the same stage with the president today and realize my digital life dream in Huawei. Are you happy with my performance today?”
Public data shows that Huawei Cloud was established in 2005, belonging to leading Chinese telecommunications firm Huawei. It focuses on technical research and ecological expansion in the field of cloud computing, and is committed to providing users with one-stop cloud computing infrastructure services.

Xu Zhijun, rotating chairman of Huawei, said that Huawei Cloud has gathered more than 2.3 million developers, more than 14,000 consulting partners and more than 6,000 technology partners, as well as more than 4,500 products in the cloud market. Globally, Huawei Cloud provides services to customers in more than 170 countries. According to Gartner’s 2020 report, it is the fastest growing cloud in the IaaS market, and has grown into the second biggest cloud service provider in China and the top five in the world.
