According to sources, Huawei will unveil a breakthrough AI technology on November 21, which is expected to address one of the industry’s core challenges: low compute-resource utilization efficiency.

Specifically, Huawei’s upcoming technology will reportedly raise the utilization rate of compute resources such as GPUs (graphics processing units) and NPUs (neural processing units) from the industry’s typical 30%–40% to as high as 70%, significantly unlocking the potential of existing AI hardware.

The breakthrough is achieved through software-level innovation, enabling unified resource management across NVIDIA GPUs, Huawei Ascend processors, and other third-party compute units. By abstracting away differences between hardware platforms, the technology provides a more efficient compute foundation for AI training and inference workloads.
