Huawei Unveils Mate 50 Smartphone Series With Four Models and Beidou Satellite Connectivity

Huawei unveiled its highly anticipated Mate 50 smartphone series on September 6. The series is made up of four different models, including the Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, Mate 50 E and Mate 50 RS. The latest flagship devices arrived with several new enhancements like protected glass, XMAGE imaging technology, Beidou satellite connectivity and more.

XMAGE imaging technology is constructed on four major technical bases – light, device, electricity, and computing. This new imaging system helps users to take high-quality images, with lots of colors, sharp details, and beautiful vibrance.

The Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro provide mobile terminal hardware for messaging under the support of Beidou satellites. However, messages can only be sent and not received in open places. Before using it for the first time, it must be activated while connecting with network. This function is only available in mainland China.
