JD.com stated it will fully integrate partners' strengths in vehicle manufacturing, battery sales, and services, innovating through consumption, production, and customization models to upgrade automotive consumption.
The model prioritizes user concerns in three key areas—safety, charging efficiency and range, and pricing—aiming for optimal balance. Users can pre-book test drives via the JD app by searching [National Good Car].
According to Cailian Press, JD.com clarified that the new car is a joint effort, with JD providing user insights and exclusive sales, without direct involvement in manufacturing.
