Lenovo Releases a Smartphone for $94
On June 5, Lenovo officially released three new phones in Beijing: Lenovo Z5, Lenovo K5 Note, Lenovo A5, and the smartwatch Watch X.

Lenovo Z5
Lenovo Z5 uses a 6.2-inch 19:9 screen with a resolution of 2246 × 1080 pixels, and its screen-to-body ratio is 90%. Its rear-facing 16MP + 8MP AI dual cameras support AI optimization. The front-facing 8 MP camera supports AI beauty selfie mode.



In terms of configurations, it adopts the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor based on the ZUI system. It has a battery capacity of 3300mAh, with a 18W quick charger.

Lenovo Z5 comes in the three colors of black, blue and aurora. It is priced at 1299 yuan ($203) for the 6GB/64GB black version, 1399 yuan ($218) for the 6GB/64GB blue or aurora version and 1799 yuan ($281) for the 6GB/128GB blue or aurora version.




Lenovo K5 Note
Lenovo K5 Note uses a 6-inch 18:9 almost bezel-less screen, with three color options of black, gold and blue. Its built-in battery capacity is 3760mAh.
It has a 4GB of RAM and a 14nm octa-core Snapdragon chip. It has rear-facing 16 MP AI dual cameras and a front-facing 8 MP camera.
Lenovo K5 Note is priced at 999 yuan ($156) for the 4GB/64GB version and 799 yuan ($125) for the 3GB/32GB version.

Lenovo A5
Lenovo A5 is equipped with a 5.45-inch 18:9 HD screen, a metallic body and a screen-to-body ratio of 80.9%. Its three color options are black, rose gold and gold.
It comes with 3GB of RAM and two storage options of 16GB or 32GB, and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It has a battery capacity of 4000mAh and supports fingerprint and face unlocking.
The 3GB+16GB version of Lenovo A5 is priced at 599 yuan ($94).

Watch X
Another product launched at the event was Watch X, a smartphone with a stainless steel body and a sapphire screen. It is water resistant up to 80 meters, and can last up to 45 days “on standby”. The watch can monitor steps walked, sleep, real-time heart rate as well as air pressure and temperature, which meets daily needs in all aspects. At the same time, it can synch real-time data with mobile phones.

Lenovo Watch X is priced starting from 299 yuan ($46), and the Lenovo Watch X Plus with temperature and pressure sensors is priced starting from 399 yuan ($62).
