Li Auto to Provide Modification Service for Li ONE Model
Chinese electric vehicle maker Li Auto announced on July 8 that it will launch a modification service for its Li ONE’s electric suction door lock at 10:00 on July 13.
The official modification service for the Li ONE is limited and it is expected to be delivered to those who have reserved it at a store within 10 days after the first batch of orders are placed. The second batch is expected to be launched on Li Auto‘s official online mall in early August.
Li Auto‘s electric suction door lock supports intelligent suction within 7mm. As long as the door is pushed to the semi-locked position, the system will then pull the door to the fully locked position. If clothes are accidentally clipped, pulling a handle on the door can trigger an interruption of the function.
In addition, the new electric suction door lock also integrates a special lock for children’s safety and security. In terms of quality, the intelligent door lock has passed 24 strict tests, and can operate normally in temperatures ranging from -40 ℃ to 85 ℃.
The electric suction door lock was first put on the shelves of Li Auto‘s official mall in December last year and carried a price tag of 5999 yuan ($895). Both the 2020 and 2021 version of Li ONE are eligible for the upgrade. The installation has so far been supported by Li Auto‘s stores throughout the country.
