Li Xiang: Li Auto Poised to Outpace BBA in Sales with L6 Delivery Next Year
On June 13, Li Xiang’s EV company, Li Auto, witnessed a record-breaking weekly sales volume, reaching 8,400 units in the 24th week of 2023 (June 5-11). The brand outperformed other new energy vehicle brands, surpassing the total sales of the second, third, and fourth brands on the list.
As of June 11, Li Auto‘s monthly sales volume has reached 11,900 units. Li Auto continues to maintain its position in the top five luxury brands in the Chinese market, ranking as the highest Chinese brand on the list. In June alone, through just three SUV models, Li Auto‘s sales surpassed the total sales of all SUV models from any of the three major German car manufacturers, BMW, Benz, and Audi (commonly referred to as BBA) in the Chinese market.

Li Xiang also expressed his confidence in a public statement:
- This week, with only three SUV models, we have surpassed the total sales of all SUV models from any BBA brand in the Chinese market.
- With the introduction of pure electric models and the delivery of Li Auto L6 next year, we are confident that we will exceed the total sales of BBA in 2024.
- Even by focusing on the niche market of high-end family users, we can achieve a very large scale.
