Mobile App Healthcare Provider Boohee Completes D2 Round of Financing Worth $15.6 Million

On Thursday, Boohee, a health management platform, announced its completion of a D2 round of financing, totaling 100 million yuan ($15.6 million), with investment exclusively from SCGC. The firm has continuously completed D and D2 rounds of financing this year, and has previously received several rounds of investment from 5Y Capital, SIG, DCM, Qualcomm Ventures, Fosun and PBG Capital.

According to the firm, this round of financing will focus on the R&D and upgrading of Boohee products, so as to promote the integration of nutrition technology and health products.


Currently, Boohee’s business covers nutrition technology, health products and nutrition services, and the firm has launched a series of products including the Boohee app, nutritious food, a Boohee WeChat mini-program and a one-on-one nutrition consultant.

Combining its own data and technical advantages, the firm integrates health management solutions with nutrition services. Up to now, Boohee has served nearly 130 million users.

According to Chinese commercial inquiry platform Tianyancha, the company was established in July 2008, with Ma Haihua as its legal representative and a registered capital of about 11.37 million yuan. The company’s registered business scope includes technical services and health consultation.
