NetEase’s Most Popular Game ‘Eggy Party’ Will Land on Nintendo Switch Next Month

At the Nintendo Direct event held last night, NetEase announced that ‘Eggy Party’ will land on the Switch platform on July 19th.

‘Eggy Party’ is a trendy casual competitive game developed by NetEase. Since its launch in 2022, it has accumulated over 500 million registered players, with a peak of over 40 million daily active users during the Lunar New Year period, making it the game with the highest daily activity in NetEase‘s history.

In the game, players can transform into cute little eggs and challenge various wonderful levels with friends; they can also pick up props in the scene to obstruct other eggs, including bombs, freezing effects, electric shocks and even farting.

Furthermore, there is an Egg Workshop in the game for players to unleash their imagination and provide a more diverse and interesting joyful experience.

From past financial reports, ‘Eggy Party’ has continuously contributed to NetEase‘s overall revenue growth. In the first quarter of 2024, NetEase‘s gross profit increased to 17 billion yuan year-on-year due to increased mobile gaming revenue including ‘Eggy Party’.
