New Honor 8X Red Edition Now Available Online
In addition to black and blue, a red Honor 8X was officially launched at the Honor Fashion show on Sept. 25. Papi Jiang, China’s “No. 1 Internet celebrity”, attended as a special guest and showed off the new color in style.

Red, a common color used in Chinese festival celebrations, represents happiness and liveliness. Compared to the profound black and white, red also stands for passion and boldness. As a color with positive and auspicious connotations, red is often seen in product designs in China.
Honor ID manager said at the event that the Honor 8X series was able to pay a tribute to classic designs by using a segmented production method to apply the most appropriate and coordinated color proportions to the surface. By adopting a scientific approach to design aesthetics, Honor 8X strikes the right balance between functionality and beauty.
Same as the original black and blue, Honor 8X red comes in a 6.4-inch full display with a remarkable 91% screen-to-body ratio, 16MP + 20MP dual AI cameras, a 3750 mAh battery, and a rear fingerprint sensor.
The special red edition is priced at 1399 yuan, 1599 yuan and 1899 yuan for the 64GB+4GB RAM, 64GB+6GB RAM and 128GB+6GB RAM configurations respectively, and is available on six e-commerce platforms starting from 10:08 AM on Sept. 25.
Papi Jiang also indicated that Honor 8X Max will be available starting from 10:08 AM, Oct. 8.
