New Leak of Huawei Mate 50 Equipped with Snapdragon 898 4G to Debut in Q1 2022
Two months after the release of Huawei’s P50 series, a digital blogger brought the latest news of Huawei Mate 50 today that the phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 898 4G processor.
At the end of July this year, Huawei finally released its P50 series that was supposed to be launched at the beginning of the year. Due to sanctions, however, 5G-related components have been blocked and many devices can still only carry 4G chips. It’s only been recently that the Snapdragon 888 4G version of the P50 has also been officially put on sale.
This afternoon, the well-known Weibo blogger “Digital Chat Station” wrote, “Q1 business flagship test S898 4G, model seems to be SM8425”. Although the blogger did not name the Huawei Mate 50 series, from the “business flagship” and 4G version of the chip, the model is could very well be the Huawei Mate 50. The Snapdragon 898 will be built on Samsung’s 4nm process and equipped with a three-cluster CPU design.
