OnePlus 15 lands with a 165 Hz OLED, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 “Ultimate,” 7,300 mAh, 120W/50W charging—starting around $556 in China.

OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 15, a performance-centric flagship built around a 165 Hz OLED display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (Ultimate) platform. Sales in China start Oct. 28 (10:00) from RMB 3,999 (≈$556) for 12 GB + 256 GB, with a top tier 16 GB + 1 TB at RMB 5,399 (≈$750). Colorways include Original Dune, Absolute Black, and Mist Purple, with a new metal-framed “Dune Aesthetics” design and ultra-narrow 1.15 mm four-sided bezels.

The 6.x-inch class OLED panel (OnePlus highlights native 165 Hz modes for leading titles and fallback 144/120 Hz support) is paired with an upgraded touch pipeline aimed at lower input latency for competitive gaming. Under sustained load, a revamped “Glacier” thermal system—featuring a larger vapor chamber and aerogel insulation—targets steadier frame rates, while OnePlus quotes +20% CPU and +23% GPU performance with double-digit power savings versus the prior generation. oneplus 15 165hz.jpg

Power comes from a 7,300 mAh “Glacier Battery” supporting 120 W wired and 50 W wireless charging; the company claims roughly six hours of video from five minutes on the plug. Connectivity and gaming optimizations include a new G2 gaming network chip (tested to reduce latency in best-case scenarios), plus enhanced sensor fusion and gyroscope tuning for steadier aim. oneplus 15 chip.jpg

Imaging moves to OPPO’s LUMO pipeline. The rear setup combines a 50 MP Sony main sensor with OIS and a 3.5× periscope telephoto tuned around an 85 mm portrait focal length, alongside support for 4K/120 fps capture and expanded HDR/portrait modes.
