OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Limited Edition to be Unveiled March 29

Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus announced on March 27 that it will launch the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock limited edition at 14:30 on March 29. The phone features a unique material, never before used in the industry – 3D microcrystalline rock – which ensures each phone is one-of-a-kind. Official images of the new device have been released. Louis Li, President of OnePlus China, stated that this marks the first time this material has been applied in the 3C industry.

Due to its extremely high processing difficulty, the production efficiency of this new material phone cover is only one-fourth that of glass and its yield rate is only half that of glass. Secondly, in order to ensure maximum expression of Jupiter’s greatness and romantic beauty, unique feel and excellent texture as well as reliability satisfaction, OnePlus has independently developed nine processes including “natural texture” and a brand-new product line to meet these requirements for this material.

Li said that in order to ensure the beauty of texture, every piece of back cover is selected with a guarantee that each limited edition phone will be unique.

The smartphone’s back cover texture resembles either Jupiter’s atmospheric pattern or wood grain, as depicted in the pictures. According to Chinese digital blogger “@Digital Chat Station,” microcrystalline rock was used to create this effect, which gives a cool sensation when held.

The new model will have the same configuration as the standard version of OnePlus 11. It will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a flexible OLED screen measuring approximately 6.7 inches with a resolution of up to 3216*1440 pixels. Additionally, it will be equipped with a rear triple camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 32MP telephoto lens and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device will also come with a powerful battery capacity of 5000mAh and support for wired charging up to an impressive speed of 100W.
