OnePlus Launches Nord Wired Earphones in India
On August 27, OnePlus launched its Nord wired headset in India, available only in black and adopting the Bullets Wireless Z design.
The OnePlus Nord wired headphones use 9.2 mm dynamic drivers, a 0.42cc sound cavity for bigger and bolder audio, a 3.5mm audio jack, and three pairs of interchangeable silicon tips. Although there is no active noise cancellation (ANC), the three silicon tips in the package can provide a passive noise isolation experience to a certain extent.
Each earphone has magnets that stick together for easy portability and double as handy audio controls. Users can unclip them to play and clip them to pause.
The headphones support IPX4 waterproof and dustproof functions. Weighing 15g, they sell for 799 Indian rupees ($9.99), and will go on sale on September 1.
OnePlus has now launched three headphones in India, including the Nord Buds wireless headphones in April this year and the Nord Buds CE wireless earphones in August. The latter also does not support active noise reduction, but it is equipped with AI noise reduction for AAC format and SBC format.
