ONTIME Debuts Robotaxi Operation Technology Platform

At the GAC Tech Day 2022 held in Guangzhou on Tuesday, autonomous driving startup ONTIME publicly demonstrated the operation technology platform of its Robotaxi for the first time. The company has completed the docking of systems and data with partners such as the GAC R&D Center, Pony.ai and WeRide, and is efficiently promoting the launch of Robotaxi vehicles and the implementation of demonstration operations.

The platform will provide complete Robotaxi commercial operation solutions and vehicle operation infrastructure, helping the upstream and downstream industrial chain to jointly accelerate the commercialization of automated driving operations.

Launched in June 2019, ONTIME is a mobile travel platform of GAC Group. The entity is promoting the construction of an automated driving operation technology system, including an operation platform, data platform and supervision platform. Next, the company will efficiently promote the construction and demonstration operation of Robotaxis.

Since 2021, ONTIME has entered into strategic cooperation with GAC Group, WeRide and Pony.ai, which aims to set up a Robotaxi fleet with a scale of over 200 vehicles, putting it into demonstration operations by the end of 2022.

In May 2022, ONTIME officially launched offline stations in Guangzhou. The first batch of 50 stations cover the core business districts and popular areas in major urban areas, providing convenience and benefits for users in diversified travel scenarios.
