OPPO Find X5 Smartphone Series to Be Released February 24

Chinese smartphone brand OPPO announced on Thursday that the launch conference for its upcoming OPPO Find X5 series will be held at 19:00 on February 24, Beijing time. The firm has declared the conference slogan as “one image frame uses two chips.”

In Q4 2021, when MediaTek launched the Dimensity 5G chip, it said that the terminal using the new chip will be launched in the first quarter of 2022, that is the OPPO Find X flagship series. The Find X5 series will also be equipped with MariSilicon X, its first self-designed cutting-edge imaging NPU. Built on 6nm process technology, MariSilicon X combines an advanced NPU, ISP, and multi-tier memory architecture.

OPPO’s promotional video shows that Find X5 series’ lens module adopts the shape of a “crater.” Compared with the camera layout of the Find X3 series, the Find X5 series is more in line with the angle at which people naturally hold smartphones. In addition, the whole back of the new model looks smoother.

The texture of the back is available in ceramic and plain leather options. Among them, the ceramic version includes two color options – black and white – while the plain leather version is blue. In addition, according to tipsters, the OPPO Find X5 series has obtained a China Compulsory Certification and will support 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
