Thanks to OPPO’s proprietary 65W SuperVOOC 2.0, users can play games on OPPO Ace2 for two straight hours with five minutes of charging. If charged wirelessly, the device can be fully charged in less than 56 minutes, while five minutes of wireless charging will be enough for one hour of gaming. Ace2 can also work as a power bank to provide wireless reverse charging at up to 10W.
Besides its charging speed, the gaming experience is another major selling point of OPPO Ace2. What makes it a great device for gaming, according to OPPO, is the lineup of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS3.0 storage. Ace2, which weighs about 185g, is one of the lightest and thinnest smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 865 chipset.
Other specs such as a 6.55-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut cover, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio also make an e-sports level gaming experience possible for its users.
Official sales will start on Apr. 20 in the domestic market. The handset comes in three color variants: gray, purple and silver. Starting at 3,999 yuan for 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, OPPO Ace2 has two other options for higher ROM and RAM, 4,399 yuan for 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM, and 4,599 yuan for 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM.
