OPPO K10 Pro to Be Launched in April
Smartphone manufacturer OPPO has announced that its K10 series will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 processor. According to a prominent blogger on Chinese social media platform Weibo, the new model will be released this month.
It is expected that there will be at least two models in the OPPO K10 series, including the K10 and K10 Pro. The latter has recently passed the certification of TENAA, China’s state telecommunications certification authority, and the smartphone’s appearance and configuration have been released on TENAA’s website. Among them, the K10 will be equipped with a Dimensity 8000, while the K10 Pro will adopt a Dimensity 8100 with stronger performance.
The OPPO K10 Pro features a 6.62-inch 120Hz E4 OLED display. The front of the device will feature a 16MP selfie camera while the rear will be a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and another 2MP sensor. The model will come with a 80W fast charger and a 5000mAh battery.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8000 processor is made with TSMC’s 5nm manufacturing processing technology. It has an octa-core CPU, including four Arm Cortex-A78 cores and four Arm Cortex-A55 cores. It boasts a 4MB L3 cache, the latest Arm Mali-G610 graphics engine, and a 5th generation APU 580, including two performance cores and one general core.
The Dimensity 8000 CPU enables maximum clock speeds of 2.75 GHz and 2.0 GHz, and the large core of the Dimensity 8100 is capable of speeds of up to 2.85 GHz. In addition, the GPU frequency is increased by 20%, and APU large core frequency is increased by 25%.
