“VOOC Flash Charge technology has reshaped the way people view charging and allowed OPPO to bring the ultimate charging experience to more than 145 million users worldwide to date. In the future, OPPO will continue upgrading VOOC, SuperVOOC and Wireless VOOC to meet user needs in various scenarios,” said Zhang Jialiang, head of OPPO’s flash charge team.
The 65W SuperVOOC 2.0, which will debut in OPPO’s forthcoming Reno Ace smartphone, can allegedly fully charge a 4000mAh battery in 30 minutes.
The 30W Wireless VOOC is the first to enable wireless VOOC to be on par with wired VOOC in terms of charging speed. It uses real-time adjustment of the charging process and efficient charging components to ensure a more efficient and safer charging while avoiding overheating.
Having undergone an upgrade, VOOC 4.0 will be featured in the OPPO K5. It is positioned to be the next-generation Flash Charge solution for all, according to OPPO.
With all the technologies, OPPO has filed more than 1,700 patents worldwide since it launched the VOOC technology in 2014, enabling more than 145 million users worldwide to experience Flash Charge on over 30 different devices. OPPO is also expanding the VOOC ecosystem through licensing the technology to external partners, with more than 20 companies participating to date.
