OPPO Releases 5G Version of A57 Smartphone, Launch on April 15

Chinese consumer electronics brand OPPO has recently released a 5G version of its A57 entry-level smartphone model, which appeared on major domestic online shopping platforms on Tuesday.

The new device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip and costs 1,499 yuan ($235), to begin sale at 10:00 a.m. on April 15.

Promotional material for the device reads: “Equipped with dual stereo speakers and a big battery, this model enables you enjoy TV series all day without charging.” This implies that the device has a good built-in audio system and has a long battery life. It supports “200% super volume,” which is beneficial to the elderly and users with high volume requirements.

The machine is equipped with a 6.56-inch 90Hz display and weighs about 186g. It is 7.99 mm thick and has 8GB + 128GB storage. However, it only has a 5V 2A charger.

In terms of appearance, the model adopts a right-angle frame design and is available in three colors – black, blue and purple. It has a waterdrop notch with a selfie camera and dual cameras in the rear. Other specific parameters have not been released yet.
