OPPO Releases New Flagship Reno Ace
Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO held a product launch on October 10 in Chengdu, releasing a new flagship handset OPPO Reno Ace.
The Reno Ace is equipped with a 6.5-inch screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 135 Hz. It uses the E3 material AMOLED screen, with its daily brightness reaching 500 nits, and the outdoor brightness reaching 700 nits. The handset also packs a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and UFS 3.0 flash memory.

In terms of battery capacity, the OPPO Reno ACE has a built-in 4000 mAh battery, supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Super FlashCharge, and ATPD fast charging, NIQC fast charging and 20W VOOC flash charging. Thanks to these technologies the phone can be recharged from 0% to 27% in 5 minutes, enough to play 2 hours of Honor of Kings in the 30-frame high-quality or 1 hour and 39 minutes if 60-frame rate is enabled. OPPO has also passed the Rhine security certification, ensuring the phone’s temperature will not exceed 39 degrees, while charging.
For games, the OPPO Reno Ace is equipped with a variety of Boost technologies to improve touch response speed, frame rate and network connectivity. At the same time, the stereo dual speakers and linear motors also take the gaming experience to another level.
The 8GB + 128GB storage version of the phone will go on sale for 3199 yuan, the 8GB + 256GB version will retail at 3399 yuan and the 12GB + 256GB version is priced at 3799 yuan. In addition, OPPO also released a 40th anniversary custom limited edition of the OPPO Ace. Only 30,000 units of the phone will go on sale priced at 3599 yuan.
