OPPO Reno 8 Rumored to Feature Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Processor

According to a leak by Chinese blogger “Technology Mentor” on Sunday, the OPPO Reno 8 smartphone will feature the mid-level market Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.

According to the blogger, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will be based on 4nm process technology with a 4+4 configuration, along with four Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.36 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.

The blogger also exposed some configurations of the OPPO Reno 8 smartphone. In terms of its screen, the OPPO Reno 8 will adopt a 6.55-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400*1080 and a 120Hz refresh rate, so the fluency of the smartphone will be further improved.

Furthermore, the OPPO Reno 8 will adopt a three-camera scheme on the back, including a Sony IMX766 50MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens.

In terms of battery life, the OPPO Reno 8 will be equipped with a 4500 mAh battery supporting 80W charging to maintain the thinness of smartphone. Its price is expected to be around 3,000 yuan ($461), and it may be released in May.
