Over 130,000 Preorders for New Generation Dual-Screen Vivo NEX

As if a foldable screen wasn’t enough, Vivo’s next generation smartphone, the Vivo NEX, will be unveiled on Dec. 11 in Shanghai, featuring dual screens on the front and back of the device.

Vivo announced on Dec. 5 that “preorders for the new NEX is available starting today”. Since then, over 130,000 preorders of the device have been made and the number is still counting.

Those who have preordered the device are also eligible to win prizes, such as a JBL Flip 4 Bluetooth speaker, earphones, webcams, other Vivo products, etc.

Weibo blogger @新浪手机 posted a video of the device held in hand after receiving permission from Vivo. From the video, one can see that the smartphone is quite a hefty device with a rather large display, aka a very high screen-to-body ratio.

Aside from the two color editions of blue and red, and the general design of the phone, no further information on the specs of the device was disclosed yet. Many are speculating a Qualcomm 845 processor with at least 8GB of RAM.

The price of the device is currently unknown.
