On Wednesday, Hello Inc. announced the launch of its own self-driving car rental service. Users can open the Hello Inc. APP, click and enter Hello Car Rental interface, and select the time and location of renting a car. By this, users can use the one-click car rental feature.
2021 China Game Industry Report Launched: Market Revenue Reaches $47 billion, YoY Increase of 6.4%
The Game Working Committee of the China Audio-Video and Digital Publishing Association released its 2021 China Game Industry Report on Thursday. The report shows that in 2021, the actual sales revenue of China’s game market was 296.513 billion yuan ($47 billion), up 6.4% year-on-year.
Corporate Food Services Company Meican Secures E Round Series Financing Worth Over $157 Million
On Thursday, Chinese corporate food services company Meican announced that it had obtained an E2 round of financing, and the investor was Sodexo. So far, Meican has completed round of E series of financing, amounting to more than 1 billion yuan ($157 million).
Xiaomi’s New Private Equity Fund Completes Filing, Lei Jun to Serve As Controller
On Thursday, according to the Asset Management Association of China, Xiaomi Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd. officially completed its registration process on December 13. The actual controller of the fund is Lei Jun and it will have a registered capital of 1.1 billion yuan ($172.73 million). The fund will be 100% controlled by Xiaomi Corporation.

Trip.com Group Reports Q3 Revenue of $832.34 Million
Chinese travel services platform Trip.com Group released its unaudited financial report for the third quarter of 2021 on Thursday. The report shows that, according to the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the firm’s net revenue in the third quarter was 5.3 billion yuan ($832.34 million), down 2% year-on-year. The net loss attributable to its shareholders was 849 million yuan, compared with a net profit of 1.6 billion yuan in the same period of the previous year.
First Pure Electric Vehicle Created by Toyota and BYD Unveiled, Equipped with Blade Battery
At the Media Briefing on Battery Electric Vehicle Strategies held on Tuesday, Toyota, a Japanese automotive manufacturer, released a fleet of 15 new electric vehicles, among which the bZ SDN concept car will be the first pure electric vehicle built by Toyota and BYD together.
