RayNeo has surged ahead of intensifying global competition to retain its No.1 position in AR smart glasses, powered by rapid overseas growth and deep technical capabilities.
According to Counterpoint Research’s “Global AR Smart Glasses Vendor Shipment Share Report (Q3 2025)”, RayNeo Innovation captured 24% of the global market, securing the top position worldwide for the second consecutive quarter. Reports from IDC and CINNO Research further confirm that in Q3 2025, RayNeo continued to lead sales in mainland China, achieving a rare dual championship across both global and Chinese markets.
Notably, this performance comes amid a sharp escalation in industry competition. Since the second half of 2025, the global AR market has entered an unusually active phase: Meta officially launched its first display-enabled AR glasses, Ray-Ban Meta Display; Alibaba introduced six models across its Quark AI Glasses S1 and G1 series; and Google has placed its first Android XR–based AI glasses firmly on the roadmap. Against this backdrop, RayNeo not only defended its market share but also demonstrated exceptional growth resilience.
In overseas markets, RayNeo’s sales jumped 3.8× year-on-year in 2025, with products entering major retail channels such as Amazon, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, and BJ’s. The company now operates in more than 25 countries and regions, with over 500,000 cumulative users worldwide. During the recent Amazon Black Friday sales, the RayNeo Air 3s Pro topped both the AR glasses and cinematic display glasses categories as a Best Seller, reflecting strong consumer demand.

At the core of RayNeo’s sustained leadership is a deep technology moat and refined product experience. As one of the few companies in the industry with full-stack in-house development and mass production of core optical solutions, RayNeo has built a comprehensive product portfolio. The RayNeo X3 Pro, the world’s smallest mass-produced binocular full-color MicroLED AR glasses, overcame multiple industry bottlenecks and was selected as one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2025. Meanwhile, the Air 4 series features Vision 4000, the first AR-glasses-specific image quality chip, delivering HDR10 visuals and AI-powered 3D content in a body weighing just 76 grams—a key step toward mainstream consumer adoption.
The AR industry is now approaching a pivotal transition from a niche, enthusiast-driven market to mass consumer adoption. As tech giants enter the field, competition is shifting from isolated hardware specs to a broader contest encompassing technology roadmaps, user insight, product experience, and ecosystem building. RayNeo’s continued leadership underscores the foresight and effectiveness of its strategy.
As AR technology moves closer to everyday households, RayNeo’s dual championship stands not only as a milestone for the company itself, but also as a powerful example of Chinese innovation on the global stage—positioning “Created in China” as a defining force in the future of the global AR industry.
