Realme Pad X to Be Released May 26

Chinese smartphone brand realme announced on Friday that its first tablet, the realme Pad X, will be officially released on May 26th throughout the country.

The official poster shows the realme Pad X with a right-angle frame with the power on button on the top right side of the device while the volume keys can be found along the right hand side of the device. The tablet will also be equipped with a stylus to support writing and painting.

The highlight of this tablet is its appearance. The tablet will be available in three colors: fluorescent green, sea blue and star gray. The first version with a chessboard on the back is the most recognizable one, which is similar to the recently launched realme Q5 Pro.

Digital blogger “Digital Chat Station” had previously mentioned that the realme Pad will be available in two configurations. One will use a LCD screen with 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 processor, a 8360mAh battery, and stylus. The lower-priced version is expected to be priced at around 1000 yuan ($149.9).

Realme launched its first tablet – realme Pad – in India last September and the realme Pad mini overseas in March. At present, these products have not yet been offered in the domestic market.
