Realme Q5 to Be Released on April 20
Chinese smartphone maker realme officially announced on Tuesday that its Q5 series will be released at 14:00 on April 20. In addition, company vice president Chase Xu wrote on social media that the new realme Q series will feature upgraded charging speed.
The realme GT Neo3, which was launched at the end of March this year, is capable of 150W charging, the world’s fastest charging rate. The phone can be charged to 50% in five minutes. Within less than a month, realme will apply flash charging technology to smartphones with a price tag around 1,000 yuan ($157).
A digital blogger with username “Digital Chat Station” also revealed that the realme Q5 series will be equipped with 80W fast charging, which can fully charge a 5000mAh smartphone in 30 minutes.
According to information on the official realme website, the series will include the realme Q5 and realme Q5 Pro. The series has passed TENAA certification, and will be equipped with a Qualcomm 870 processor, with a maximum of 12GB memory and 512GB storage.

Rumors suggest that the high-end version – Q5 Pro – is equipped with rear 64MP+8MP+2MP triple cameras. It has a 4880mAh dual-cell battery. The model is 8.65mm thick and weighs 194.5g. The display is a 6.62-inch AMOLED. The standard version – Q5 – has 13 MP+2MP rear dual cameras, with a rated battery of 4880mAh. It is 8.1mm thick and weighs 190g.
