Realme Releases C30 in India, Previews TechLife Watch R100
Chinese smartphone maker realme launched its C30 smartphone in India on Monday. The company also previewed a new smart watch – the realme TechLife Watch R100 – which will be unveiled on June 23rd. The watch is aimed at those who are into health and fitness while desiring a watch that is both fashionable and has a long battery life.
The realme TechLife Watch R100 sports a 1.32″ TFT color screen of 360×360-pixel resolution, and encircled by an aluminum alloy and a matte rear cover. The R100 also features two buttons on its right side which hearken back to the Watch S and Watch S Pro. The TechLife Watch R100 will also support Bluetooth calling, and pack a 380 mAh battery.
Realme also launched a Watch T1 smart watch in China this year. This watch is equipped with a 1.3-inch round dial, supports a 50Hz high refresh rate, 110 sports modes, Bluetooth calling, fast charging, multifunctional NFC, among other features and retails for about 699 yuan ($105).
The realme C30 released today is equipped with the UniSoC T612 chip and runs the Realme Go Edition UI, which is based on Android 11. The smartphone has an 8MP camera in the back and a 5MP selfie camera in the front. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that can last for up to 43.5 days in ultra-saving mode even with 5% power remaining.
The realme C30 has a 6.5-inch HD + LCD screen, with 1600 x 720 resolution, 120Hz touch sampling rate and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The smartphone measures only 8.5 mm thick and weighs only 182g, and is available in bamboo green and lake blue. The 2 + 32GB version costs 7499 rupees ($95.99) and the 3 + 32GB version costs 8299 rupees ($106).
