Realme Unveils Images of Upcoming Q5 Series Smartphone
Chinese smartphone brand realme will launch its Q5 series at 14:00 on April 20. The official preview put on by the company on Monday included several pictures and some information about configurations.
Realme’s Q5 will be equipped with 60W flash charging, a 5000mAh battery and a 120Hz e-sports screen. It provides three color options, including yellow, gradient and black, and will feature three cameras at the rear.
According to realme’s self-operated flagship store on JD.com, the series will include three different models: Q5, Q5i and Q5 Pro, among which the Q5i was put on sale today. The devices will be equipped with the Dimensity 810 5G processor, 5000mAh batteries and 33W fast charging, each priced starting at 1199 yuan ($188.4).
According to the official release information, the realme Q5 series will support up to 80W fast charging and will take only 12 minutes to charge the phone to 50%. The effective capacity of the battery will still be over 80% after 1600 complete charging cycles. From the current available information, only the realme Q5 Pro will support 80W fast charging.

In terms of performance, realme said one of the models will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 processor. According to promotional poster, the Q5 Pro has passed Tencent‘s mobile game QQ Speed’ competition certification, and it is very likely that the Q5 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870.
