Redmi 10X Launched With Latest MediaTek SoC and Dual 5G Standby
Redmi held a product launch today where it presented the Redmi 10X, its latest handset equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor specially fitted to allow 5G support in affordable gadgets. Lu Weibing, Redmi’s general manager, has claimed that the chip has surpassed the Kirin 985 SoC in performance.

The phone is optimized for gaming and comes with a liquid-cooled heat dissipation system that ensures a smooth user experience. The 10X also flaunts a built-in 4,520mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging and 33W fast flash charging.
The Redmi 10X uses Samsung AMOLED screen with a screen fingerprint scanner and sports a waterdrop-style notch display design.
It can operate on sub-6GHz 5G networks in Asia, North America, and Europe. And can support dual 5G standby, switching intelligently between SIM cards at any time.
The Redmi 10X comes with a quad rear camera setup, including a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is also a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The Redmi 10X will be priced at 1,599 yuan for 6GB + 64GB, 1799 yuan for 6GB + 128GB, 2,099 yuan for 8GB + 128GB, and 2,399 yuan for 8GB + 256GB. The pre-sale is now open, with official sales starting at 0:00 on June 1.
