Chinese logistics giant SF Express unveiled its unmanned delivery vehicle in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The vehicle is equipped with intelligent containers and interactive terminals. The vehicles also have L4 unmanned driving capability, all-round video surveillance and cloud management systems.
The delivery vehicles can provide intelligent logistics services for users in different scenarios such as campuses, scenic spots, housing estates and industrial parks.
Supporting 5G network and high-precision positioning, the vehicle can detect external its environment and recognize users’ facial features.
In May, Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone officially released the trial version of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Unmanned Distribution Vehicle Management. The office also issued the identification numbers of unmanned distribution vehicles to JD.COM, Meituan and Neolix. Meituan announced in April that its next-generation automatic delivery vehicle has been officially put into operation in Shunyi District, Beijing.
