SHEIN Guangzhou SHEIN Bay Area Supply Chain Phase One Project Commences
Cross-border e-commerce SHEIN‘s Phase 1 project in SHEIN Bay Area of Guangzhou started construction on September 28th in Zhongxin Town, Zengcheng District.
SHEIN is an international B2C fast fashion e-commerce company that mainly deals in women’s clothing, while also offering men’s clothing, children’s clothing, accessories, shoes, bags and other fashion items. It is one of the top five unicorn companies globally.
The project will establish a modern supply chain center integrating operations warehousing, stocking, picking, distribution, shipping and settlement to provide core support for SHEIN’s global sales. The logistics in the park adopts a fully automated system throughout the entire process of goods receiving, identification, sorting, packaging and outbound delivery.
The first phase of the Guangzhou SHEIN Bay Area Supply Chain Project has an investment of 3.69 billion yuan with a total construction area of not less than 800 thousand square meters. It will build operational warehousing facilities for shipping and settlement order fulfillment business and is expected to attract around 30-40 thousand industrial talents during peak periods.
The total investment of the project is 10 billion yuan, divided into three phases of construction. It is estimated that the annual export volume will exceed one trillion yuan after full production, and about 100,000 industrial talents will be introduced during the peak period.
