Specs of Poco F4 5G Smartphone Unveiled
Poco India has been drumming up interest in its new Poco F4 5G smartphone for several days. On June 11, the company confirmed that the new phone will support 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, equipped with a Snapdragon 870 core and UFS 3.1 storage.
The new Poco F series smartphone will be equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display which supports FHD and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will provide memory options of 128GB and 256GB, a 4500mAh battery and 67W fast charging, capable of bringing the device from 0% to 100% in 38 minutes.
Previously, Geekbench also showed that the model’s 64MP main camera will support OIS. In addition, it may have an 8MP super wide-angle camera and 2MP macro sensor, with a 20MP camera in the front.

There are reports suggesting that the Poco F4 5G is an updated version of the Redmi K40S, which was launched in March in China. The Redmi K40S uses a 6.67-inch Samsung E4 OLED straight display, which has a resolution of 2400*1080, supports 120Hz high brush with peak brightness of 1300 nits. It also supports MEMC dynamic image quality compensation, and can insert frames to 60fps for low frame rate video content.
In terms of core configuration, the Redmi K40S adopts a Snapdragon 870 processor, has LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1. Its heat radiation has been upgraded from liquid-cooled copper tube to a 3,112 square millimeters VC liquid-cooling system, with an area increase of 400%. The model also has a built-in 4500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.
The Redmi K40S model adopts a combination of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP super wide angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The main camera supports OIS stabilizing technology.
