On July 7, the 14th China Auto Bluebook Forum was held in Wuhan. Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei's Terminal Business Group, said that extended-range electric vehicles could save about half of the gasoline compared to fuel vehicles.
Huawei's car-making partner Chongqing Sokon Group announced on July 11 that it has submitted a proposal to change the company's name to Seres Group Co., Ltd. Seres is a new energy vehicle brand owned by Sokon.
On August 24, AITO M7 models jointly built by Huawei and Seres started the first batch of delivery in Chongqing and Shenzhen and will be delivered nationwide.

A regional manager of AITO, an EV brand jointly created by Huawei and Seres, said that at present, offline channels are being vigorously laid out.
Some AITO M7 owners have recently claimed that the vehicle's rear ventilation system cannot generate heat. Customer service staff of AITO confirmed that the heating functions in the front can meet temperature demands for the whole car.
