Byton, a premium smart electric vehicle startup, and supplier Bosch Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Germany on Sept. 24. The agreement focuses on powertrain technology, braking, and driver assistance systems.
Intelligent electric vehicle maker BYTON showcased its latest innovations at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 26, including the U.S. debut of the BYTON K-Byte Concept on the prestigious Concept Car Lawn.
Byton’s K-Byte concept debuted in Shanghai on June 12, and Byton, the Beijing-based startup has announced its product naming strategy for the first time.
The Asian edition of the popular Consumer Electronics Show will open its doors for the 4th time in Shanghai tomorrow at CES Asia 2018. The exhibition will span three days from June 13 – 15 and showcase the newest technologies by over 500 companies from 80 countries.
Byton’s global headquarters officially opened in Nanjing on June 11, and announced the successful completion of their Series B round financing of up to $500 million on the same day.
At the 2018 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition this year, new car manufacturers Nio, Byton, Weltmeister and Singulato had their new production cars on display to rival the traditional car manufacturers.
Byton announced a reach strategic cooperation with Aurora, an automatic driving technology company. In the next two years, Byton and Aurora will carry out pilot projects, jointly develop automatic driving technology on Byton cars and will deploy 100 to 200 automatic driving vehicles in the San Francisco Bay Area.
