In response to Canada's ban on Huawei and ZTE 5G gear, spokesman Wang Wenbin said that China is firmly opposed to this and will take all necessary means to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies.
China Mobile has released a statement to its official website, stating: “In compliance with the request of the Canadian Federal Government, CMLink of China Mobile Canada, will cease operations on January 5, 2022."
