Recently, commercial information platform Tianyancha showed that Dragon Punch Storm has made a registration change with the Industrial and Commercial Administration. The affiliated company of Bilibili Shanghai Magic Electric Information Technology Co., Ltd. and Dragon Punch Investment Management Partnership (Limited Partnership) of Ningbo Meishan Bonded Port Area have become the new shareholders.

Dragon Punch Storm is a mobile game research and development company established in 2017. It has received tens of millions of angel investing investment from Tencent in April 2017 and has also received H.Brothers strategic investment in December 2017 and Changyou investment in May 2019.

The company owns two self-developed products: the 2D trading card game “Nightmare” and the KOF IP trading card game “Awakening of KOF Soul”.

“Nightmare” was launched on April 7, 2020. Since 2016, Bilibili has frequently invested in game companies, and its early investment has included 2D game companies, such as Molyjoy and itimeu. According to some statistics, in 2021, there were more than 15 game companies invested by Bilibili. However, the success of game content needs a combination of various factors and has proven to reap returns in the short term.
