According to multiple posts on Maimai, Tesla had reportedly rescinded job offers to 2024 graduating students, offering them one month's compensation instead. In response, several automotive company HR representatives commented below affected individuals' posts, offering priority interviews to those impacted by Tesla's decision.

The Paper, a Chinese media outlet, interviewed Mr. Liu, one of the individuals impacted by Tesla's contract terminations. After receiving the offer, Liu had created a chat group with around 10 soon-to-be graduates set to join Tesla. Currently, all members of the group have had their offers rescinded by Tesla. Liu also mentioned coming across online rumors suggesting that all job offers to recent graduates from Tesla this year had been rescinded on a significant scale, although he couldn't verify the accuracy of these claims. As of the latest update, Tesla has not issued a public response to these reports.
