China's Ministry of Transport has formally summoned four domestic online freight corporations on July 8, namely Huolala, Full Truck Alliance, GOGOX and Didi Freight.
Full Truck Alliance launched its own intra-city freight brand called "Sheng Sheng". This move suggests that the company aims to compete with Lalatech in its dominant market.
Reports have surfaced suggesting that digital freight platform Full Truck Alliance may acquire the China arm of Plus, an autonomous driving truck company.
Full Truck Alliance, a Chinese digital freight platform, issued a statement on January 25 in response to a report by short seller firm J Capital Research, firmly denying allegations that it has overstated or falsified any operating or financial data.
Plus, a self-driving truck company, may initiate its US listing plan again by merging its Chinese business into Full Truck Alliance, a digital freight platform. The official announcement will be unveiled in March this year.
