Honor released two new products at a product launch in Beijing on Oct. 11. The popular brand under Huawei released a new budget smartphone — the Honor 8C as well as their newest tablet — the Honor pad 5.
In addition to black and blue, a red Honor 8X was officially launched at the Honor Fashion show on Sept. 25. Papi Jiang, China’s “No. 1 Internet celebrity”, attended as a special guest and showed off the new color in style.

Baidu voice, visual recognition and other artificial intelligence technologies will be used in Huawei phones. Huawei reached a deal with AT&T to sell Huawei phones through the US operator’s channels in the first half of 2018, Chinese media reported in August. Recently, Yu Chengdong has confirmed Huawei will formally enter the US market in 2018.
Huawei staff told Netease Technology that Honor changed the way it is motivating and assessing employees. The Honor department is relatively independent, with separate financial statements and control of overseas operations.
